The Role

We’re looking for a skilled PHP Developer to play a key role in building and maintaining robust, scalable web applications. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys writing clean, maintainable code, solving complex problems, and delivering high-quality user experiences.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality PHP applications

• Contributing across the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design through to deployment

• Collaborating closely with front-end developers, designers, and cross-functional team members

• Troubleshooting, debugging, and optimising application performance

• Keeping up to date with emerging technologies, tools, and best practices

What We’re Looking For

• Proven commercial experience as a PHP Developer (Laravel, Symfony, or similar frameworks preferred)

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns

• Solid experience working with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL

• Familiarity with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

• Experience using version control systems such as Git

• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail

Bonus Points For

• Experience building and consuming APIs or working with microservices

• Exposure to DevOps tooling and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development methodologies
