Full Stack Typescript Engineer

Salary: £45,000–£55,721 base + benefits, perks & healthcare

About the Role

We’re looking for a TypeScript Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and deliver modern applications and microservices that solve complex client challenges. You’ll work across the full stack using TypeScript, contributing to high-quality front-end experiences and scalable backend services within cloud-native, containerised environments.

This is a client-facing consultancy role, offering exposure to large-scale digital transformation programmes across multiple industries.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain high-quality microservices using Node.js

• Develop modern, responsive front-end applications with React and TypeScript

• Use Next.js and Vite to create fast, scalable user interfaces

• Deliver cloud-native solutions on AWS or Azure

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, GitHub, or Jenkins

• Containerise applications using Docker and Docker Compose

• Collaborate in agile, cross-functional teams across engineering, design, and product

• Apply best practices in security, code quality, performance, and maintainability

What We’re Looking For

Essential Skills

• Strong experience building Node.js microservices

• Front-end development experience with React and TypeScript/JavaScript

• Hands-on experience with Next.js and Vite

• Cloud experience with AWS or Azure

• Proficiency with Git and Git-based workflows

• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins)

• Familiarity with Docker and Docker Compose

• Proven experience working in agile delivery teams

Desirable Skills

• Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform

• Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB) or SQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL)

• Understanding of web standards, accessibility, and modern development best practices

Bonus Skills

• Building microservices in C# or Java

• Integrating LLMs (e.g. LangChain, Vercel AI)

• Experience using design systems and Nunjucks
