About the Role

Are you an experienced IT professional with a talent for problem-solving and a commitment to delivering exceptional technical support? Join our Managed Service Provider (MSP) team in Huddersfield as an IT Engineer and play a key role in ensuring our clients' IT systems operate smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1st, 2nd, and some 3rd Line Technical Support for clients.
  • Act as an escalation point for the 1st Line Support Team.
  • Assist with the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of IT systems.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and create documentation for recurring issues.
  • Support and mentor junior team members, ensuring knowledge sharing and team development.
  • Collaborate on various IT projects to enhance service delivery.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in 1st and 2nd Line support within an MSP environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
  • Proficiency in networking technologies (LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls).
  • Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and Exchange.
  • Demonstrated ability to act as an escalation point for support teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities.
  • Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator) are an advantage.
