IT Field Engineer
Location: Edinburgh
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused IT Field Engineer to join a well-established Edinburgh-based IT consultancy. Founded in 2000, this company specializes in delivering professional IT support and consultancy services to small and medium-sized businesses. With a team of over 20 skilled engineers, they provide solutions ranging from individual PCs to comprehensive corporate systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and set up IT equipment on-site for clients.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during on-site visits.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive client experience.
  • Prepare for upcoming jobs and configure devices while working in the office.

Requirements

Essential:

  • Driving License and Own Car: Ability to travel to client sites.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in working with desktops, laptops, Office 365, printers, and networking devices such as Draytek, Netgear, and Ubiquiti.
  • Customer Focus: Positive attitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
