Project Manager – Software Delivery | Blackburn, Lancashire | £55,000 | Hybrid

About the Role

We are recruiting an experienced Project Manager to join a leading software solutions provider based in Blackburn, Lancashire. This is a senior-level opportunity for a Project Manager with a strong background in enterprise software delivery, ideally within Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), supply chain or retail software environments.

Key Responsibilities

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of complex software projects, including:

• Planning and delivering software implementation projects on time and within budget

• Managing stakeholder, customer and internal communication throughout the project lifecycle

• Supporting pre-sales activities, including project scoping, delivery plans, estimates and documentation

• Producing financial, commercial and project status reports across multiple engagements

• Managing project risks, dependencies and change control

• Ensuring a smooth handover to support and account management teams post-delivery

Skills & Experience Required

To be successful in this Project Manager job, you should have:

• 5+ years’ experience in IT or software project management

• Proven delivery experience across software development and implementation projects

• Background in WMS, supply chain software or retail systems

• Experience delivering enterprise software projects or WMS implementations

• Strong working knowledge of Autotask PSA or similar professional services automation tools

• Excellent stakeholder, customer and account management skills

• Strong commercial awareness, including managing budgets, plans and delivery outcomes
