We are working exclusively with a specialist food manufacturing business to recruit an IT Support Coordinator for their site in Bolton. This is a key hire to support the continued growth and digital development of the business.
Reporting directly to the IT Manager, the IT Support Coordinator will play a hands-on role in supporting, maintaining, and improving IT systems, processes, and user support across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities

Manage the IT Service Desk, ensuring user issues and requests are logged, prioritised, and resolved within agreed SLAs

Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to users across the business

Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, both on-site and remotely

Support continuous improvement (CI) projects to enhance IT systems and operational processes

Work closely with third-party vendors and suppliers, obtaining quotes for IT hardware and system components

Support and maintain Microsoft 365 environments

Liaise with a wide range of internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and service delivery

Assist with the development and documentation of IT processes and best practices
Skills & Experience Required
-
Proven experience in an IT Support / IT Service Desk / IT Support Analyst role

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365

Experience managing or helping to implement a service desk function

Confident supporting users across multiple departments and stakeholder groups

Experience with ERP or MRP systems is highly desirable

A proactive mindset with a desire to develop and progress within an IT career
