Senior Business Analyst

We’re delighted to be partnering with a high-profile global brand in the Midlands to recruit a Senior Business Analyst for their growing, high-impact change and technology practice.

This role suits a customer-focused, delivery-driven Business Analyst who brings deep experience in IT-enabled change, a consulting mindset, and the confidence to influence, challenge, and co-create solutions with senior stakeholders.

The Role

As a Senior Business Analyst, you’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering strategic technology solutions in complex, client-facing environments. You’ll build trusted relationships at all levels, lead business analysis across challenging initiatives, and contribute to the ongoing growth and maturity of the BA function.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead face-to-face and virtual workshops, aligning stakeholders with competing priorities to define clear, agreed requirements

• Take an evidence-based approach, using data and insight to inform decisions and constructively challenge assumptions

• Navigate ambiguity, bringing clarity and structure to complex problem spaces

• Work closely with Solution Architects, Product Managers, and UX Designers to deliver end-to-end solutions that meet client needs

• Identify industry trends and opportunities within projects, contributing to business development, bid proposals, and innovation

• Drive added client value through innovation, including the application of Generative AI to enhance business processes

• Lead Business Analysis on complex, high-pressure projects, role-modelling professional standards and behaviours

• Take responsibility for people management, mentoring, and developing Business Analysts, supporting career progression and capability growth across the practice

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience delivering user-centred product or service development initiatives

• Strong background working in technical environments, collaborating closely with architects and technical SMEs

• Experience identifying and developing commercial and business opportunities with clients

• Demonstrated experience in mentoring, coaching, or line-managing Business Analysts

• Background working within the Public Sector or other regulated, legislation-driven industries (e.g. Utilities, Energy, Pharmaceuticals)

• Experience incorporating a sustainability mindset into solution design
