AI Developer/Engineer

We’re seeking an experienced AI Developer to join a collaborative team delivering cutting-edge AI solutions. This role requires current and active SC clearance, or the eligibility to obtain SC clearance.

You’ll work across both Azure and AWS environments, applying your strong background in C#/.NET to design, build, and integrate enterprise-grade AI solutions. As the AI subject matter expert, you’ll collaborate closely with engineers and domain specialists, clearly communicating the capabilities and limitations of Generative AI to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

• Fine-tune Large Language Models (LLMs) and other generative AI architectures

• Optimise pre-trained models (OpenAI, Anthropic, and open-source LLMs) using prompt engineering and reinforcement learning

• Experiment with model configurations to balance performance, cost, and scalability

• Design and maintain robust data pipelines for continuous model improvement and retraining

• Ensure adherence to ethical AI, data governance, and privacy standards, including bias mitigation

• Build APIs, microservices, and integrations to embed GenAI capabilities into enterprise workflows

• Partner with frontend and backend teams to deliver AI-driven features into production environments

• Act as an AI SME, advising stakeholders on GenAI opportunities and constraints

What You’ll Bring

Essential Skills

• Strong programming experience in C#/.NET (essential) and Python

• Solid understanding of AI fundamentals, AI ethics, and safe LLM usage

• Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Graph RAG

• Knowledge of embedding models and LLM training fundamentals

Cloud & Platform Experience

• AWS: boto3, Bedrock, SageMaker, Lambda, S3, EC2

• Azure: Azure OpenAI Service, Cosmos DB
