Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Developer to contribute to the design, development, and optimisation of cloud infrastructure supporting xAgent, a full-stack TypeScript platform. You will collaborate closely with DevOps and engineering teams to deliver scalable, reliable environments using Docker, Terraform, and modern automation tooling. This position focuses on infrastructure-as-code, container orchestration, and enhancing CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimise Terraform configurations for AWS provisioning.

• Build, manage, and troubleshoot Docker containers for both front-end and back-end services.

• Implement and support container orchestration using ECS, EKS, or Fargate.

• Automate infrastructure workflows using AWS CLI, SAM CLI, and scripting languages (Bash, Python, or TypeScript).

• Use the AWS console when necessary for inspection, debugging, and operational tasks.

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline).

• Manage AWS security and networking, including IAM, security groups, and VPC configuration.

• Implement observability and monitoring solutions using CloudWatch and X-Ray.

• Work alongside developers to support deployment of TypeScript-based microservices.

• Produce and maintain clear documentation for infrastructure, processes, and deployments.

About You

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, and Terraform.

• Proficient in scripting with Bash, Python, or TypeScript.

• Comfortable working within Node.js / TypeScript environments.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to create high-quality documentation.

• AWS certifications are highly desirable.

• Must supply your own equipment.
