Graduate IT Support Analyst

Are you a recent graduate (2023/2024) with a passion for IT? We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior IT Support Analyst to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals with a BSc (2:1/First) or BEng (Hons) in Computer Science, Computing, or a related field. A minimum of 6+ months' experience in 1st line IT support is required, along with hands-on experience in Microsoft Active Directory, Azure, M365, and Office 365 administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line IT support for end-user issues, including hardware, mobility, desktop applications, printing/scanning, networking, updates, and patching.
  • Deploy and maintain IT equipment, such as computers, laptops, printers, and mobile devices, including OS imaging, application installation, and security hardening.
  • Manage user accounts, mailboxes, and permissions in Active Directory/Azure AD and Office 365.
  • Support the company’s unified communications solution (8x8).
  • Document system configurations, architecture, and network/operating procedures accurately.
  • Maintain processes for systems management, security, and asset inventory.
  • Perform routine IT tasks, including system backups, antivirus checks, and security control validations.
  • Handle onboarding/offboarding processes in line with company policies.
  • Maintain records of company hardware and software assets.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Prioritize and provide tailored IT support for senior-level staff (Executive/C-suite).
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to improve internal processes and user experience.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior team members when necessary.
  • Adhere to relevant legislation, policies, and best practices.
  • Perform other IT-related tasks as required.

Requirements

Education and Certification:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Computing, or related fields (BSc 2:1/First or BEng Hons).
  • IT certifications such as ITIL Service Management, MCSA, or CompTIA (preferred).
  • Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.

Experience:

  • 6+ months' experience in 1st line IT support in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven experience with:
    • Microsoft Active Directory, Azure, M365, and Office 365 administration.
    • Windows 10 & Windows 11 operating systems support.
