We are seeking a proactive IT Help Desk Technician to deliver first-line IT support across our warehouse and office environments. This role is critical to ensuring uninterrupted IT operations within a fast-paced logistics and distribution network. The successful candidate will provide hands-on technical support, troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, and work closely with warehouse and operations teams to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in a warehouse setting, ideal for an IT professional who enjoys working in a dynamic, operational environment.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver day-to-day IT support for warehouse and office users, resolving issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, handheld scanners, mobile devices, and peripherals.

Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot network connectivity, LAN/Wi-Fi performance, and system access within the warehouse environment.

Install, configure, and deploy new hardware and software, ensuring compliance with IT security standards and company policies.

Manage user accounts, passwords, permissions, and access rights in line with internal IT governance.

Support and maintain Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to ensure smooth logistics and operational workflows.

Log, track, and document all incidents and service requests using the IT ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution and accurate reporting.

Escalate complex technical issues and liaise with external vendors or central IT teams when required.

Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance on warehouse IT infrastructure and equipment to reduce system downtime.

Provide basic IT training and user guidance to warehouse staff on systems, applications, and hardware usage.

Assist with software updates, backups, and scheduled maintenance activities as required.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Experience & Education
-
Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

1–2 years’ experience in an IT Help Desk, Desktop Support, or Technical Support role, ideally within a warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
Technical Skills & Knowledge

Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, and common enterprise applications.

Practical experience troubleshooting PCs, printers, scanners, mobile devices, and warehouse IT equipment.

Basic understanding of networking concepts, including LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, and switches.

Exposure to Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or ERP systems is highly advantageous.
